The 43rd Filmfare Awards were held on 31st January at NSE Industrial Complex in Mumbai. Nikhil Kapoor and Sandhya Mridul were the hosts of the evening. The film ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ (directed by Yash Chopra) fetched seven awards for the year. It was the first hindi movie to be shot in germany.
