The 42nd Filmfare Awards were held on 23 February at SNDT University in Mumbai. Sanjana Kapoor was the host for the glamorous evening. The film ‘Khamoshi: The Musical’ (directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali) grabbed several awards for the year. ‘Khamoshi’ is one of the critically acclaimed Indian bollywood films, which was released on 9 August 1996.
