The 46th filmfare popular awards were held on 17th February at NSE grounds in Mumbai. The film ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ (directed by Rakesh Roshan) grabbed the highest awards in various categories. The film marked the debut for both Hrithik Roshan and Amisha Patel. The winners and the categories for the year 2001 are given below.
