Friendship day is the good day to celebrate your friendship with your special friends. Friendship day is celebrated in different in countries include India. 

As Friends play a significant role in one's life. It’s a friend who makes your life easy, supports you, motivates you, understands you, and gently allows you to grow.

In friendship day many of your best friends meets with you but some time some friends are not there. You can send them best wishes with your heart typing some good quotes. 'Friendship Day', which is celebrated on the first Sunday of August every year, is also becoming popular in India for the past few years. Due to the increasing trend of social media, celebration of great fame celebrates the young generation of India on this day of Dosti. 

But before India, the South American country, especially in Paraguay, was celebrated with Friendship Day quite a lot. Friendship Day celebrations occur on different dates in different countries. 

Let us know that on April 27, 2011, the General Assembly of the United Nations declared 30 July as official International Friendship Day. However, some countries, including India celebrate Friendship Day on the first Sunday of August. In Oberlin, Ohio Friendship Day is celebrated on April 8 each year. Apart from this, the date of celebration of Friendship Day is different in many parts of the world. 

Friendship Day was originated by Joyce Hall, the founder of hallmark cards in 1930, intended to be 2 August. This is a day when people celebrated their friendships by holiday celebrations.

The idea of a World Friendship Day was first proposed in 1958 on 30th July by Dr. Ramon Artemio Bracho while having dinner with his friends and by the World Friendship Crusade (It is an international civil organization that campaigns in favor of Friendship as a way of fostering a Culture Of Peace).

After which initially the greeting cards were encouraged to give to their friends on this day. Friendship Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of August in International Southwest Asian countries along with International Friendship Day, while in some places it is celebrated on the first Sunday of August but not on the second date. 

Celebrating the bond of friendship dates back to the epic Mahabharata that was written during the 4th Century CE. The celebration of friendship day took place in the province of Ayodhya. It occurs when Lord Krishna’s friend, Sudama arrived in his kingdom after a long journey.

It is said that there is no relation between friendship and friendship in the world. On the day of Valentine's Day, where loving couple expresses affection, on the day of 'Friendship Day', friends are showing their affection for friendship. Every Year, the boys will get a lot of opportunity to express their happiness.
