The 44th Filmfare Popular Awards were held on 21st February at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai. The film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ bagged the highest (eight) awards for various categories. The film is a romantic comedy written and directed by Karan Johar. KKHH hit success both in India and abroad winning major awards.
