The Filmfare Awards are considered as one of the oldest and most prominent awards in the Hindi film industry. The awards were incepted to honor and acknowledge the best talent in the industry. The winners are announced according to the votes cast by the readers of filmfare magazine. The film ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ was named in several award categories. ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ was directed by Sooraj R.
